TOBY 2/13

Good Morning all,

I think Toby has figured out that we will give him almost anything to get him to eat. So he holds out for the good stuff. I put some rice in with his food this morning and he would not touch it, then I put some ham cold cuts in and he started to eat. Maybe I will try giving him some ice cream later, since the snow is all gone and he loved eating the snow.

This picture I find as I was going through some pictures. It was taken a few months ago. I walked in the room to only see snoopy's tail and butt sticking out...I had to laugh.

TOBY 2/12

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Toby must of felt all your love yesterday. I came home from the eagle view and Toby greeted me at the door with his tail wagging! It has been a long time since I've seen that tail wag. He ate all his food on his own and spent some time outside enjoying the warm weather.

Toby turned 14 years 3 months on Monday the 9th!!!

TOBY - 2/11/2009

Good Morning all,

Toby had a bit of a rough night...I had to get up a couple of times and lay with him. But this morning he ate all his food in one sitting. Of course we are giving him smaller potions and yesterday we had to hand feed him.

The picture was taken a couple of weeks ago. The chair behind him is the chair he loved to sleep in but now only sleeps on his bed.

TOBY UPDATE

Hi All, This is a blog to keep you posted on Toby. I will be posting pictures and telling stores of the many wonderful memories we shared over the last 14 years. The picture to the right was taken about 2 years ago. He is sitting in his favorite chair. He can no longer jump in his chair, so he sleeps on his big bed next to his chair.

Feel free to post comments, I will be sure to read them to Toby.

:: I will miss being greeted in the driveway and I will miss his manatee. The girls never got to meet him-but then he was not too fond of GSDs. Now he doesn;t have to wait at the nottom of the stairs until the reili circle is over-he can be up there with us. Miss you Toby.

:: Hi Mr. Tobys, Thanks for the picture, brought back only good memories-we wish we could of meet Tucker and Kaila. We just got back from VT and had fun in tons of snow. We meet Oatis a 7 month yellow lab mix - what a barker. We are not resting on the sofa trying to catch up on our zzzzzzzzzzzz! Catch ya later Tobys
